I want to make a backup to an external harddrive, so that I can just run the file and it will restore my computer to where it is right now. In other words, I want to make a full system image. Only catch is, I only want to make an image of my C:\ drive. My C drive is the Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, and Logical Drive. However, my D:\ drive (partition on the same physical drive) is the System, Active, and Primary Partition. I have Vista installed on that drive, but I very rarely use it. I still need the data on it however, and would like to keep vista on it. I'm aware that there is a utility in Win7, but it wants to backup the D:\ drive as well, which makes it a massive backup of 400gb+. Is there any way I can do this? I would be willing to use any software that would make this possible. Thank you for all help.
