Default Data recovery

I tried creating a new partition of 50 gb on my hdd ( 146 gb) with paragon partition manager 9.0 on my windows vista business. However, the mains switched off and the operation was interrupted. I inserted the recovery cd and completed the operation. On restarting the system displayed the message "missing os". On starting the recovery cd, i saw that i have an unformatted partion drive of 96.4 gb ( on which my os was there originally) along with a newly created partition of 50 gb. I am not able to boot from the hdd. Any help.
