Your right. The Sandy Bridge chips feature a dual channel RAM controller but they are replacement LGA1156 chips which also featured dual channel RAM controllers.

The replacement LGA1366 chips, the LGA2011 CPU, will feature quad-channel RAM controllers.

ok i got it working, room mate solved it for me lol

holy crap this card folds compared to my 4850! lol

it did about 90 Iter/Sec, an this one does 480-500/Sec.

That sounds rather low to me. What PPD are you getting?

It doesn't. Install a f@h monitor like HFM or fahmon.
