Idk where you guys get your benchies but I usually go here in a pinch when I need it quick. You can see the 6870 eeks out the 5870. There's not much price difference last I checked on the Egg.

Though, I imagine with some OC ill bet that gigabyte will keep up with a 6870.

In games the 6870 is not as powerful as the 5870, which is why the 6870 is cheaper than the 5870. Also, the 68xx is now considered the midrange instead of high end if I remember correctly.

Also, I suggest you get an better PSU whenever you can sniper, I wouldn't trust an rosewell with an 5870.
