i just got most of my computer for christmas (other then hard drive) and was wondering where the hard drive led plugs into. i figure the hard drive but i dount have one yet so i just get to star at the prety lights the details for what i have are in my signiture ( exclude hard drive). thanks

it plugs into the motherboard. same area where the power/reset plug into.

yeah on to the motherboard, if u cant find out look in the documentation for your motherboard

lol if i can find it. i had that stuff all over the place when i opened it that day. i hope i put it back in the box.

You can find the manual Here If you cant find yours. On page 57 Part 11 it shows the documentation. Looking at it it appears the bottom left 2 pins are for the IDE LED light Positive is the first one and negative is the 2nd one. If you need more let me know.
