Ok, not sure where to put this, but here's the problem I am looking for a resolution on.
We have some folders that users need access to. They need to have full access to the files inside of that folder (create, move, copy, paste, delete, etc...). What I need to prevent are these users moving the entire folder or sub folders into other folders.
Example: Folder Test contains several files that the users have created. User A accidentally moves the folder Test into another folder on the same mapped drive but doesn't notice they've done it. Problem is, there are a hundred folders on this mapped drive they could have dropped it into.
There has to be a way either through group policy, permissions or something. I'm sure this is not an isolated problem.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
