If I have black glossy plastic, what is the best way to give it a more matte look? I know I can sand it, but that tends to look like crap.

Paint never stays on plastic. I was just curious if there is a way to sand it evenly.

Wouldn't it leave like lines though?

I've never really sanded plastic, so I'm not really sure what to expect.

It doesn't stick very well though, and it'll be highly visible wherever it scratches.

I just bid $250 on a G71GX-RX05 with a broken screen. I'll probably get outbid, but it's worth a shot.

EDIT: I also bought some more batteries. Two 6600 mAh 9-cell packs for $11 apiece. I'll take the cells out of those and put them in parallel with the cells in my three 4400 mAh packs. I'm also gonna get two 7200 mAh packs for whatever laptop I end up buying, which will give me a total of 40.8 Amp hours. I think that should about cover it...
