computer freezes

ok i just got done building my new computer and am very happy with with it except it freezes at random times it does seem to freeze more often when i am running .mvk files but i am only running about 50 processes cpu usage is only at like 5 percent and i am only using like 17 percent of my phisical memery i have instaled and use avg free ed. and uniblue regrestybooster and cpu runs at 30 deg cel and system runs at 28 but i do not know what the graphics card temp is

ati radeon HD 5770 1 gb video memery
Gigabyte 890pa-ud3h motherboard
win 7 ultimate

What make and power output is the power supply? I doubt it's the video card but that's also a very slight possiblity...

yes the pointer seems to freeze as well

i have a 700w coolmax power supply model:cu-700b

i use a ati radeon HD 5770 graphics card i honesty don't know the difference between a graphics and video card but the motherboard does have intergraded vga dvi and hdmi ports but i use the hdmi pornt on the radeon
