Basically my computer shut off one day and never turned on again. For the longest time we thought it was a faulty motherboard and replaced it with a new one. Now we have the new one installed and it still won't turn on. But when plugged up makes a ticking noise. I am short on time so I can't post the specs now (not sure what they are).

I'll check this in the morning :(

sounds like it could be the power supply . Have you change it to see if it was the culprit?

Agreed, see if the power supply is causeing the issue. If not the power supply could be the hard drive (because of the ticking noise).

Power supply, I'm sure. Although if you checked that already and it works, then I would look out for a short if it doesn't turn on, or if it does turn on, chechk your hard drive(s).

If the computer doesn't turn on, the HDD can't click. The clicking is normally a result of an actuator smacking the drive casing.

+1 for PSU. Rail could have some instabilities.
