networking guide for beginer?

I have almost finished my Certificate 2 in Infomation technology and will probably be going onto cert 4 networking. Since we have learned dick all in cert 2 about networking i am looking for a guide thats for beginers. Any suggestions?

I know they will teach me about it in cert 4 but i want to get a head start on it myself over the holidays.

networking isnt simple by any stretch of the imagination imo

see if you can find any MCSA/MCSE material

Perhaps you can just get the books/materials you'll be using in cert 4 and read ahead.

I don't think you can find a "beginners guide" thought. Perhaps one of those "For Dummies" books. I don't know if the have a Networking for Dummies?
