its proven the gts 450 is better then the 5770 and if you over clock both the gts 450 will win even more

Nvidia's incorporation of OpenCL, Tessellation, and various other technologies give them a huge +1 on ATi. Maybe with the release of HD6K, ATi will catch up.

i'm not going to be doing an overclocking, it confuses me to much and i'm afraid i'll mess up my computer...but i'm going to be playing mmo's rpg's rts's and some fps also i'd like to be running on high game setting at 1680 x 1050 resolution...the price isn't up for debate, its a birthday present, i just get to choose what it is.
also i'm going to me running windows 7 if that matters

oh yeah and i've got my graphics card, case, hard drive, ram, and disc drive.
so the mobo and processor are the only things still up for debate,(i've decided AMD btw) right now i've got these:
