Case: COOLER MASTER HAF X RC-942 COMPUTER PC CASE ~ $246
or COOLER MASTER HAF RC-932 COMPUTER CASE ~ $185

Graphic card: MSI NVIDIA R5870 1GB 256Bit GDDR5 PCIE 2*DVI HDMI DSP DX11 OC ~ $521

PSU: COOLER MASTER SILENT PRO 80+ M850W POWER SUPPLY UNIT ~ $197

Optical Drive: Samsung SH-B123A Blu-ray / DVD Combo Drive - 5.25 internal SATA, 12x Blu-ray Reader & DVD Burne ~ $77

Do you guys think its too much? Not enough?

Nice choice of components there.

The only thing I would do is add another, small, hard drive for OS and programs and use the 2TB drive as storage and stuff.

Also get triple channel RAM kits, not dual channel. So 3GB/6GB/12GB..... The 1366 i7's have triple channel controllers on die so it makes sense to utilise it.

I couldnt find any of the 3gb/ 6gb and 12gb like you said ...
i dnt mind sticking with 8gb tho..
is 8gb enough ? LOL

There's triple-channel RAM kit's all over the place. Seriously if your going for an X58 platform then go with a triple-channel RAM. Otherwise go for a i7 860 with a P55 motherboard.
