PC Wont Wake Up

I built the PC (specs below) a couple of weeks ago and whenever I put the PC to sleep (try to make a conscious effort not to put it to sleep now) or when the PC automatically falls asleep after a period of not being used it doesn't seem to wake up again for about 24/48 hours (thats how long it took to wake up the last time).

Even if I pull the plug and then attempt to turn it on again, it won't, but come Monday, it'll probably turn on as usual and even ask if I want to resume windows.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

When you get it going again, go into the control panel and select power options. Change your setting to High Performance and see if this solves your problem.

you don't have to do that, just change the sleep option in the current power profile to "never". I don't understand why people choose to put their desktop systems to sleep. In most cases, it's best to just Hibernate the PC instead. Sleep is best relegated to laptops and netbooks where power consumption is already primary.
