hello guys!!!

Can anyone tell be that "is it favorable to use HTML5 for web designing?". What are new tools introduced in html5 ????

Hi Melisa,

Yes! It is favorable to use html5 for web designing. Although its not completely launched. But, its several features has been introduced.
Some of its newest tools are audio and video functionality, header and footer, offline storing and lots more.

You can get detailed information from www.thehtml5tutorials.com

On the contrary, whilst it's good practice to make use of HTML5 features now, bear in mind that browser support isn't great. Or more specifically, IEs offering doesn't yet support a lot of the elements (so if you want your site to be viewable in IE8 you'll need an alternative!) It's good in most other modern browsers, but still not there 100%.

I would encourage you to develop HTML5 sites, but not put them in to production. Here's why:
Because HTML5 is still a working draft, ALL aspects of it are subject to change. Meaning even browsers who have implemented features may have to change if those features themselves change.
-- Why might this occur?
Well, a short summary is that there are still many security concerns regarding HTML5's use of cookies and geo-locating code and other features which I won't outline here but you can read about on the W3C's site.

Like Berry said,
