its more future proof has USB 3.0 sata 6GB its about the same price as the Asus too

i have two 4870's at the moment how does this compare to 1 5970? my 4870s are radeon hd 4870 512mb.

seeing as two of the5970's run me out of money quickly is there an alternative that is cheaper that produces a close comparison?

or is one of the 5970's enough?

Seriously one HD5970 owns 2 X HD4870's all day every day, period.

or should i throw my money away and buy this baby instead?

Ok but will it be better then 2x gtx 460's, or whatever I had posted at the top?

At low resolutions 2 GTX 460's might keep up with a HD 5970 but most times, with a lot of games the HD5970 will eat it, sorry, them. Start to increase the resolutions and the HD5970 starts to shine.

Will the 5970 allow me to use 2-3 monitors maybe 4??? Or will I need a second card to run 2-3???
