**New Build Guide**

Your budget system build was very helpful. I have a few questions though. I need a video card which you did not include in that setup so what would you suggest? I also already have a 6600 gt (old school I know), but will that be compatible with pci-e 2.0? Also, I have never bought a micro-atx board, does the case you buy matter with that? I already have a case and it is pretty big, but it doesn't matter right? Also, let's just say I wanted a regular ATX board, what would you suggest? Sorry for all the questions, I have been out of the computer loop for years and am new to all the technology today. Thank you.

I built this up in Newegg costs about $750 w/ shipping, anyhow please reply if you guys see anything wrong with it (missing something or an incompatibility) i would like someone else to ok it before i click the order button.
Thanks!

Alright I went through your build and found some combo's and some upgrades thats were cheaper Got you upto 4 gigs ram. And few other things. If you want to stick with the 2 gigs you can go back to it and be around a 700$ build instead of the 750.

*Currently updating, should be done in a few hours. I feel embarrassed that this is so out of date.*

Can someone name me a good motherboard I can use that isn't a budget ASRock? My last ASRock wasn't the best of motherboards and I'm not keen to use them again really.

Also what ATI card should I use instead of the GTX 460. I believe the 460 is actually quite a noisy and watt honking card, so would prefer something a lot less noisey and a lot less power consumption too, preferably ATI. I was thinking about a 5770, as it'l save me a bit of money and I don't need the power of such a top card as the 460.

You don't really need to spend a lot on a motherboard if you're not overclocking, apart from if you want a multi-GPU setup. The ASRock should do exactly what it says it will, and I don't think you should base your opinion on one bad experience. But if you do want an alternative, this would do.

The 5770 and the 460 768MB both perform around the same and use the same amount of power roughly, so it's down to personal preference.
