Questions:

1) Can you do stuff that pre-built computers can do? (ex. wireless connection)

2) Will it have a OS installed when I get it?

3) What can I do to improve it and lower the cost?

4) Can I run modern games with this? (ex. COD MW, SC2, BFBC2)

According to the link you provided, there is no operating system installed on the hard drive. So you can install some version of Linux on it and do pretty much everything you can do in Windows. Everything except play any of the games you listed. Unfortunately you needs Windows in order to run Windows-based software. Yeah, there's linux software like wine that supposedly emulates Windows enough to run Windows-based software, but I've never had much luck running anything as complicated as higher end video games.

would you be willing to build your own lol ?

1 . Yes
2. Yes but you have to buy it from them
3. nothing really maybe get the the phenom x2
4 . you could probably play cod mw2,mw not sure how good the 5450 is
