I'm not selling anything on ebay anymore. Sold a netbook for $200 and only got about $150 (After shipping fee, ebay fee and paypal fee) I know i should have charged the buyer for shipping ><

Tell me about it, when I sold my camcorder I had to pay $21.50 in ebay fees and something like $6 from paypal, out of the $175 I sold it for.

Ebay is not the place to sell stuff to make money anymore.

Yeah ebay is definitely getting greedy, I remember when they had a sliding final value fee scale which used to go down to 1%

Sold my HD2 on eBay for £240. I paid ~£12, I think. That's 5%.... I wasn't massivley fussed to be honest.

I just noticed that there is a new thing called 'ebay bucks' that gives you 2% back whenever you buy something. WTF? Why don't they just charge the seller 2% less? They are the people who ultimately pay for it.

I got a 19" monitor for $50, and after selling it on Ebay for $100, I barely made a profit (Ebay fees, paypal fees). On top of the percentage Ebay took out, they charged me like $10 two weeks later for "seller fees".
Forget Ebay, Im going with craigslist or something. Another place that I havent really had a chance to check out all the way is glyde.com
