I joined the supermileage team at my school. 2 years ago they got 1140 mpg. Seems cool. I'm only a second year, think I'm gonna do the body/chassis team.
Really, there are tools out there to shrink images to make them easier to post on web forums. I felt like I was on dial up again! Though that being said, that's not the kind of nostalgia I like!
That sounds like so much fun. I hate taking classes online for just this reason - getting involved with clubs is a little harder to arrange. I used to be in Odyssey of the Mind, and dabbled in a little Science Olympiad too. Definitely envious of your club.
Uhh, quite a lot. You know most things implemented in cars come from the racing industry first? In this enterprise, we will be doing anything to get the best mileage. Tuning, to lightweight bodies. Sure it's not exactly the same as a car, but the ideas can still be implemented. GM sure likes the research all the enterprises do which is why they continue to give us money.
Will do, I'm going to check out the body chassis meeting tomorrow. I want to work with carbon fiber, but learning to tune the engine and all seems interesting too...
