Backing up my Documents and Settings folder to my spare 500gb HDD and wiping out Windows XP x64 and installing Fedora 13 64 bit. Then I'm buying a 1tb hard drive later this week and installing Windows Vista Home Premium. I'm using Vista because I have a legal license and it's not being used. I only need it for games.

I'll report back once I get Fedora working.

My first linux distro happened to be Fedora Core 2!

From what I have read, they have a 6 month release cycle.

Huh. my memory must be bad, or I must've had an outdated iso already downloaded or something.

My first distro was debian 2. I tried using it the other day on my picture frame, and it was absolutely hell to navigate the gui. I had to do pretty much everything in a terminal.

I think the Fedora release cycle has changed from time to time.

Right now I'm just waiting for my backup harddrive to format so I can transfer my crap off my Windows XP x64 partition.
