Power LED/Power button/HDD LED wires too short

Ok, basically like the label says. I got a new mobo for my computer, gonna sell it to a friend. The front panel wires are too short. Do I have any options other than soldering an extension in? Also, the rear fan wires are too short as well. Any and all suggestions are appreciated (I have a USB extension cable, but the blank seems to be in the wrong pin =/)
