Need help finding a hdd controller driver for windows 7

I have a gateway MT6821 laptop I'm reinstalling windows 7 on, but their website doesn't have the mass storage driver for that model for windows 7, so it's not detecting the hdd. Any idea where I could find this driver, or know of a way to get around it?

I believe that the "gateway mt6821" came with vista.So... are you installing it for the first time or did you upgrade to windows 7? Than im guessing that something happen so you had to reinstall, correct? Try and rollback the driver to a earlier point in time or uninstall it than reinstall the original drive.I was looking around the web to see if i could find anything that would help but nothing. but i see you get around guick, seen you on Tech Support Guy, Lol.
