Im not a big fan of onboard graphics mostly because I use my computer for gaming but what do you guys think about using onboard graphics for an HTPC. I was thinking it should be plenty enough for just watching blu-rays and stuff but im not 100% sure. I am planning on using an AM3 board because I can just use some extra ram I have laying around to complete a build cheaper. I found this open box MOBO MSI 880GMA and was thinking that it may be alright to just use the HD4250 onboard instead of buying a GPU. Do you guys think it would be alright for playing back Blu-Rays or do you think its a better idea to get a cheaper board and get a dedicated GPU? Oh BTW I am only using a 24-26" monitor right now so I am not exactly putting it on a 40" TV or anything.
