Hard Drive

I was wanting to get a new hard drive...I purchased 2 Barracuda 7200 250G hard drives and they failed miserably...Any other suggestions besides seagate?

First, do you have a preference for speed or size? and what price range are you looking for?

If you want suggestions for a reliable brand of hard drive, mine would have to be Western Digital.

I have 2 OCZ SSD 40gig for RAID 0, and a 1.5tb Seagate Barracuda. All of them havent given me any problems at all.

Over my years of computers I've had over 15 hard drives from seagate and only one went bad... It's kind of sad to see the kind of luck with them.

When I don't get a Seagate drive, Western Digital has my money.

SAMSUNG Spinpoint or Western Digital Black(dont get blue/green if you want performance) are also very good. Ive owned alot of Seagate Barracuda and never had a problem.
