Hey guys, first post here, was hoping you guys can give me some advice.

I am currently running:
ASUS A7N8X2 Deluxe
3 GB DDR 400, PC 3200
AMD Athlon XP 3000 2.2 GHz
NVidia GeForce 6600 GT
Soundblaster Audigy 2
120GB HD
Windows XP Home

Its an older desktop that I slowly upgraded along the years, but it seems to me like I am at my max capacity for what I can do with it. I don't really play many PC games anymore, but I am planning on playing Star Wars: The Old Republic when its released next year, the game hasn't really game any system specs yet but I'm assuming it may require just a little more than I Got.

Anyway my main question is with an AGP slot can I upgrade my graphics card still? I know ATI is really the only company still producing AGP cards but I'm not sure if some of them are compatible with my system due to the DDR3 Ram on the card etc. Any help on if or what I should do would be helpful, even if its with some other hardware. Thanks for the help.

you need to upgrade all around, mobo/cpu/ram/gpu. you could get a nice setup for around $300-400 just for cpu/mobo/ram/gpu and you would be set for about 2-3 years. Welcome to CF!

I dout you would be able to play that on low settings with your current setup.
