now for the case. I want something that isn't UGLY, but it isn't something that ppl will really see either. Size really isnt an issue, so I assume larger means more room to work?

oh and one of the cases that u can just snap the bays into would be great!!

No. Been running it since Beta and have had little to no issues. I have Windows 7 on 3/4 of my computers. Get Windows 7 for sure.

Dont go with the V9 i had it was falling apart the PCI brackets came off so there was gapping whole in the back

How does one go about updating the BIOS of one's motherboard to enable 6-core CPU support if one does not have another AM2+/AM3 CPU lying around? Or do two of the six cores get disabled without the update?

I'm sure you just pop in the six core CPU, boot then update. The updated BIOS would just include some additional features to utilize the six core CPU better although it should be useable from the off.

If not then i'd use another computer and download the BIOS to a flash drive.

Like "Remeniz" said, just pop it in and go, it want use all 6 cores untill BIOS update.

I have a spare HD 32" monitor.. can I run out from this card to the TV and use it?
