Dual Boot Issue

I partitioned my HDD making a 20GB chunk to put some linux on to dual boot when I felt like messin with it. Put Ubuntu next to my Win 7 install...everything worked fine. When I booted the puter up it would ask to boot 7 or Ubuntu. Convenient.

Well...I reformatted that partition and put Sabayon there instead. Now, when I boot it up it asks whether to boot Sabayon or 7. Cool.

Here's the problem...if I pick Sabayon, it goes into Sabayon just fine. But, if I pick 7, it prompts me again whether to boot 7 or Ubuntu! Ubuntu isn't even on there any more!

What's goin on?

I had the same exact situation with Win7 and Ubuntu, I had the GRUB installed and Windows boot loader had Ubuntu in it so I had to use EasyBCD to remove Ubuntu from the Win Boot Loader.

You just have to edit the bootloader and remove Ubuntu from it. The exact same thing happened to me.
