Which anti-virus program should I use?

Hi guys, I'm using Kaspersky for my lap, but it seems to make my laptop run very slowly. So, I'm thinking about another anti-virus program. Can you give me some advice or recommendations because I cannot choose one among many programs. Can you share some experience? Thanks for any help

AVG is a favorite of many

Avast is really good too.

Personally, I buy mine. I'm using ZoneAlarm Extreme Security. I haven't had a serious virus in the 3 years i've had it. 50bucks though for a year.

Norton is also really good, and suppose to be fast.
