What video card for this MB?

I am limited in knowledge but crossfire means you can use a cable and connect two ati gfx cards together to get more power out of them.

PCI Express 2.0 x16 1
PCI Express x1 1
PCI Slots

Look at the specifications
it has slot for 1 psi exp 2,0 vid card. which is good for a decent mobo
mobo not really good tho cuz it cant handle a good cpu.
cpu is hte brains of the comp and mobo is the nervous system so its importanbt for a good computer

I would not get that board.Crossfire 2 PCI cards aint good,Crossfire 2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 is good. Here is a good board with a good GPU.
Mobo- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130275
GPU- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102873

wow that GPU n Mobo is considerably cheaper than I thought it may have been.

The reason I was looking at those others was that they came in a combo from newegg with case... processor and everything.

next question...

what cpu should i run on this board?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130275

I want something fast of course, but nothing the board cant handle. Would rather go with AMD as I said just because it SEEEEMs like you get more bang for your buck over like an i7 or something from intel.

The end result is a nice upgradable gaming computer.

Thanks,

B

again look at specifications certain mobos can run certain cpus...
the specifications of the mobo u got does not enable u to use i7.

Why get the 965BE?....He can get the X6 1055T for $10-15 more.Of course it needs a BIOS update to run the 6 core, which is here- http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=downloaddetail&type=bios&maincat_no=1&prod_no=2057 . Here's the Phenom II X6 1055T- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103851

Good point if the OP is building a rig specifically for multi-threaded work. Otherwise put the savings towards a better GPU.

Eh? No one has mentioned the i7.
