create american itunes account w/o credit card

I created a canadian account on itunes last year and I now live in the us and want to make a us account to get new apps. However it seems they removed the option to not have a payment method. Can someone help me I have none of those payment methods and just want free apps?

I'm not sure how to create an account without a CC on file, but you can go to a local Walmart and get a prepaid Visa card, those typically work, just throw $5 on it.

I have a canadian account that gave me the option to select none as an option. I dont see shy they would remove that option.

I hate apple I can't wait until some good android mp3 players come out.

You can buy an itunes gift card or prepaid visa and use that as your "credit card" and get free apps all you want. Go buy like a $10 gift card and create a new account.

I may go the prepaid credit card route. IT just seems like something I'd need for buying stuff online now that I can't just use my dads

Same here, I have a reloadable one for iTunes and paypal, other than that I have had no need for a credit/debit card.
