I did use Avast and AVG

Avast gave me problems and never installed right it never asked me were to install it. And it always Poped Up even when it told me I was ok.

AVG always wants me to upgrade.

What other free program does anyone use that will just work as is and not wont me to upgrade

I personally use Comodo Internet Security which comes with the AntiVirus and Firewall programs. It's completely free so there's no upgrade question, only notifications about program access to your computer. This can get confusing sometimes and annoying for those who don't like the feature, but hey, give it a whirl and if you don't like it, stick with AVG or even better, Malwarebytes.

Microsoft security essentials is great (and free) as long as you can pass windows genuine check.

While Microsoft products are sometimes good (not vista bleh), they are the primary target for virus developers. I would recommend third party software.
Although I haven't used the product you're referring to so I can't speak to it and will now stfu
