Ctrl Key doesn't work well

I have 2 microsoft natural keyboard, one is wired and one is wirerless and the Ctrl works about half the time on both. when I'm deleting pictures while holding down the Crtl key and hit the delete I find that one picture is deleted and the other 20 are not. Is there a hot ket I can make for the Ctrl which doesn't work very well?

Well there is two control keys on a keyboard.
So the simplest solution is to use the other one.
If that doesn't work, and your keyboard has programmable keys, you could program one to act as the ctrl key.
