PC won't recognize headphones...

It's an official Microsoft utility, sure, never used it though so I don't know how useful it'll be.
 
i downloaded it, and at first i thought it was going to fix it, but in the end it still showed that there was something wrong.
but when i un-plugged and plugged back the headphones after around 15 seconds the computer finally recognized it! T.T finally! (although the program i downloaded still said there was something wrong... )

but thank you! so much! for helping me, and sticking around for an hour :D
i wouldn't have downloaded the program if you didn't okay it... (already have enough viruses from websites that were supposed to be "safe"...)

Don't you have a" Sound Card " ?
Read it's manual
Read the MBoard Manual
Do a Direct X 9.0 Sound tests
What speakers do you have How (many)
Is the volume controls useable ( Sound,cpl)
 
i have windows xp and my headphones usually alwasy worked, im kind of mad now because for some reason they just stop working thats why i searched this is topic. Hopefully someone can help me out, i need my headphones
