Blu-Ray player Qusetion

here are the two Blu-Ray players in looking at to buy but do know which one is right for me. Would it be worth the extra money to buy the 12x bd or stay with the 8x bd? All i will be doing with it is just playing disc no burning.

They're both at a read speed of 8x. The one with a 12x is a burner, and the 12x indicates how fast it burns a blu-ray.

Since all you plan to do is play a blu-ray disc with it, and don't plan on burning, then yes, the $80 will do the work.
