I never understand that. How can people live with computers like that? I know not everyone is made of money but come on. A nice custom built HTPC/light gamer costs like 350 USD. Even without a job, you mean to tell me some one could not get together ~350 USD over a summer?

I'm sure most people can come up with ~$350 over a summer once way or another, but I assume most will buy other things than parts for their PC.
I know if I have a job, I am saving up about $6000 (buying various things) before I buy anything for my PC Unless something happened to it, like a part failed.
