Upgrade Advice

I have this computer,

and am looking to put in a new processor, power supply, and graphics card. Can anybody tell me which parts are best and compatible with this computer??

Around 200-300 dollars.

no point in upgrading that old of computer....

Well your already running the fastest CPU for the motherboard.

There's no point upgrading the PSU and the only graphical upgrade is an AGP GPU.

So put the $300 towards an upgrade.

With that kind of budget, you're looking at two things.

Swap out the AGP card for the fastest AGP card you can get your hands on, as well as upgrade the RAM to about 2GB and live with the system because that's the end of the road.

or, as Remeniz suggested, put the money toward an all-out upgrade. New case, new parts, new system, etc. That HP system is retirement bound.
