Crossfire connecter question

Hey there i have a ASUS P6X58D-E motherboard and it says its ready for the Crossfire thang, and it comes with the bridge but the flexible bridge wont fit. Will i need to buy another bridge? Im trying to hook up two XFX 5770 GPU. Thanks in advance.

You can allow the flexible connector to bend to fit close connecting cards.

none of the connectors fit my XFX 5770 crossfire port. are there two types of connectors for the crossfire hookup? The port on the board in longer than the female connector on the bridge.

As far as I know there's one type of crossfire connection.

It's ok. Your trying to use an SLI bridge for CrossFire and the SLI bridge connectors are smaller than the CrossFire bridge connectors.

You need to buy a CrossFire bridge connector.

Yea. I've just checked Asus' site and they supply only an SLI bridge connector for nVidia cards.

The CrossFire bridges ain't that expensive.
