Hey guys. So, I'm building a computer for my birthday and I'm going to be ordering the parts very soon. I want to get a wishlist on newegg that I could make. Here are the parts that I DEFINITELY know what I want.

Phenom II X4 955/945 (not sure which one)
AMD HD 5770
(I heard the G.Skill 2x2 Ram is really good)

And basically everything else is the cheap but decently good parts I could get. I'm hoping you guys could help me out. If someone could help me make a wishlist and post the link that would be great. Try adding combo deals if possible.

Thanks a lot.

Well, holding off on linking for now, I own a Phenom II 940 in my home system (black edition) and even at 3.0 GHz it's plenty fast. What kinds of things are you aiming to do on this system? Just wanting to build a cheap quad core, or otherwise?

I got a nice one for you right here, combos are right, quality parts. under 700, my basket shows 630. This is using stock HSF which is fine if you arent overclocking. This build is with the 955 and the 5770 which you wanted.

Aces Wild has a great build here. I'd be ok with recommending that one as well.

(I like to fine tune my recommendations, not trying to lazy here! I just like to know more about a user's habits before I go charging through Newegg pricing rosters :) )
