new build

I am building a new computer and trying to figure out some of my parts, I have the majority of it figured out, but I am unsure whether to go with Intel or AMD, if someone could give me some advice that would be great. Also i need to figure out a video card, I will mainly be using my computer for gaming.

Mmmm, thats like saying cars are better than trucks. I totally disagree with this, and i'm running an Intel set up!

Not that Intel is bad but it depends on what you wanna do with the rig, how much money you got and your general preference, if any, as to which platform you want/need.

My price range is about $1300, i would mostly be using the rig for gaming

also i need a video card, which one would be best for my price range
