i am going to build a htpc, its been a long time since my last (2004), so i say its time for a new computer. these are the parts that will go in the gaming htpc. would the 4870 gpu be to hot for this case? the case has 2 60mm in back for exhaust, and 1 90mm on the side for intake.

If you read the reviews on the case at Newegg.com, the case's cooling is pretty good, you should be fine running it at stock speeds.

Also the XFX Radeon HD 4870 is a dual PCI design and will emit most of it's hot air via the PCI exhaust slot.

oh... ok thanks. i didnt know the dual pci design did that

im not even sure that card will even fit in that case will it?
how long is the card? how do i find out the max length the case will support?

Should fit, in those reviews I saw a few cards with higher specs in the case than the card you listed.

... and you might just get a XFX Radeon HD 4870 in there; it's gonna be tight.

EDIT: You should be good just employ decent cable management.
