thinking of upgrading my graphics card

i wrote a semi long thread but got an error trying to post it.... so im gonna just get to the point....

specs:
xfx radeon 5770 vcard
gigabyte p55ud6 motherboard
intel i5 core pu
full tower coolmaster haf
1tb hard drive
750w psu

what would u suggest to make my bad video card match my other specs?

5850 worth it? possibly even the 5970, im not too familar to nvidia cards.
what would u suggest?

There's nothing wrong with that video card at all, I think it's a pretty good match for the build to be honest. What's the goal here? budget?

I would say 5850 or GTX 460 if you want to upgrade.

I have to agree with Gibson here. I fail to see the weak link in your build. Why is that video card not good enough? If you're experience problems with it, try a different catalyst version.

Yeah, with the newer drivers there's a pretty big jump in performance. If you upgrade to a new card, you aren't going to see a big difference, and are going to pay a lot. Maybe just get another 5770 and crossfirex?
