Whenever I attempt to turn off my HP monitor, I get a display message saying Power Button Lockout... so I can't really turn it off unless I unplug it. Anyone know how to fix it?

Hold the power button for 10 seconds, that should unlock the power button.

Who the freak knows!! It's a power button lock feature that HP put on some of their monitors, lame if you ask me.

It's used as a public display feature, so idiots who try to mess with the displays don't turn them off.
