I did a little trip earlier this year across the countryside. I had to bring a knife incase i needed it. I had a hard time keeping it anywhere convenient yet easily accessible. I need a more practical sheath than my pocket.

What I've decided upon is a leg sheath. Anyone have an idea of how to go about making one? either from scratch or from a normal belt style sheath?
Its a hunting knofe that looks similar to this:

Take a regular leather belt type sheath and use leather shoestrings to attach it to your leg, Bear Grylls style.

^love Bear Grylls

I would just take two pieces of leather, cut them to size, and sew them together with two slits in them for a strap.

That was a really bad explanation of my idea, but I have no idea how else to convey my message.

Also, it's early, and I'm tired, and haven't had any coffee.....
