My Mouse Has Stopped Working

Ok, so like the title has said, my mouse (Microsoft Mouse 6000 V2) has stopped working. More specifically it is working on and off for periods of about 10 seconds or so. I've tried replacing the batteries several times, and I've made sure it's not a weak wireless connection. Any ideas on why it's not working?

Check in Device Manager, under HID / Mouse / USB ports and make sure that the power option " Allow Windows to to power off this device...." is not enabled.

Ok, well I just plugged it back in to check all that stuff, and it's mysteriously started working again, but I'll try that stuff if it doesn't work again

Well, it's stopped working completely now, I can't even make it work again for a little bit by resyncing it. And I can't find the specific place you're talking about Rooster, because under Human Interface Devices (HID I assume) there are two different things, neither of which is my mouse
