I've restarted my laptop, and the error is still there.

Winidg32.rom is a Trojan horse what virus scanner are you using?

How did you find that out? I need your basis for saying that and your reference.

Also, Casey, the Windows setup files may be on a partition on your HD

The problem is fixed I helped him in msconfig.

And Yes, it is a Trojan as you can see from this Google search:
