white based purely on the fingerprint factor. oh and if you ever wanted to sell it down the road, white ones seem to sell 3x faster.

IMO the white one looks kind of weird as a color for iphones but it would show less scratches and fingerprints than black in the short run but it would likely start to look bad after a year or so of heavy use. I had an old ipod video 30gb white up until a year and a half ago and with heavy use it started to become brown. Since then I have been put off by white apple products. Hopefully that doesn't happen to the iphone as well
