Preinstalled Thermal Paste

hey guys, I'm planning to get the intel i7 930 and I was told that it comes in stock with thermal paste already on the heatsink. I'm not planning to over clock my PC or anything so I'm just wondering if I should apply my own thermal paste or is the stock one okay?

It should be just fine. I've used the pre applied thermal paste before with absolutely no problems.

The pre-applied thermal paste is fine. There really isn't that much of a performance difference between the OEM paste and the expensive aftermarket pastes.

Personally I always take the pre applied stuff off and put AS5 on.

i use ceramique, but i have never had a problem with the pre-applied stuff with stock clocks.
