I really need some help buying a computer that can run wow.....preferably beautifully. I'm hoping to spend under $1,000. TBH i want to stay in the $800-$950 range. The only thing i know i want is an Intel i5 or i7 processor over an AMD. I'm not in any way computer savvy so if there's reasons i should get an AMD please inform me. As far as graphics cards go nVidia or ATI doesn't matter. Iv heard there pretty even in performance...once again inform me.
Thx in advance for all your help guys!

Not sure on the mobo, but that should serve you fine.
Get the newest i7 you can afford, cheapest one in list.
You can screw with the case too.

Really, anything will run WoW fine. It takes no PC power to pull off max everything in WoW. The only reason why everyone plays the game is because it runs on almost any PC.

You can't generalize like that. Lots of computers out there can't run WoW, and the OP stated that he'd like it to run "beautifully." This narrows down the selection to computers that have a good video card/CPU to begin with (integrated graphics won't cut it).

Nodnal, are you willing to build, or would you like us to link some pre-made PCs?

I smell fanboy...

No. Dudelewis had an xfx 5770 in his build originally. Xfx has been cheaping out like crazy on their 5770s, putting only one crossfire plug, cheapo VRMs that do not allow vcore control, cheaper parts that are more likely to die, etc. I also will never trust their custom pcb cards again after what they did to the 4890.
