Lojack problem with Mac

My girlfriend tried to install low jack on her computer, and apparently it won't start now. She has the 2nd version of MacBook Pro from summer 2007, running OS 10.6 snow leopard. The grey screen comes up, and the apple, and the gear progress thing, and it just keeps spinning. She called low jack support, and the program was registered, but never installed, so there is no way (they said) that the program is locking the computer as if she stole it. She doesn't think for some reason the program was installed right, so she tried to restart it, and it won't start now. Any insight or suggestions? Thanks

Sounds more like a corrupt file system (as the computer isn't even starting) rather than lojack or any other software.

Get a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, and reinstall the Mac OS.
