So about a year ago i bought a premade >.< pc at best buy. Its an hp elite but the current vid card is a nvidia geforce 9500 gs which i thought was a laptop card? I play WoW mostly and some other mmos and fps games from time to time. My fps has gotten worse and worse with each new patch in WoW and im looking for a new card to boost my fps alot (50-70 at maxed or close to max settings hopefully). Usually during pvp, raids, etc im running 20-30 fps and heavy aoes its around 5-15. Money isnt really a huge deal id rather not spend more than 500 though. Im sure you get these same repeated threads 10 times aday but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx, V

Here are some specs, hope it helps.

Operating system:Windows 2.6.0.6001 (SP 1)
CPU type:AMD Phenom(tm) 9750 Quad-Core
CPU Speed (GHz):2.42
System memory (GB):7.991
Graphics card model:NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS
Desktop resolution:1920x1080

Your major bottleneck is the graphics card. What brand of power supply does the system include, and what wattage is it rated for? How many 6 or 8 pin graphics card connectors does it provide?

For your situation, I would recommend an HD 5770. Depends on your power supply though, can you find out what it is?

Its has a 300w power supply, but the case is pretty cramped already idk how bad that will limit my choices.

Found this vid that atleast shows the inside of the case which may help you out,www.bing.com/videos/watch/video/hp-...503c55090a63a2c2e990503c55090a63a-95403902479

That's not gonna cut it.

I would recommend that one if your case will fit it. It's a standard ATX one.

As for the video card, I would recommend this one or a similar one from a different brand:
